Grace of God

The grace of God is an unmerited gift to show us favor and mercy even though we do not deserve it.

  • It does not deny us because of demerit.
  • It will not be less because of your deeds.
  • It cannot be earned or purchased.
  • It is never payment of a debt.
  • it cannot incur a debt.

It is free, a gift from your Creator.
If you look for it, you will find it everywhere.
It gives you freedom from pride.
It gives you freedom from performance.
It allows you to focus on a person’s strengths and allows for their differences.

It is an enabling power to help you accomplish what you normally cannot accomplish on your own.
It is nothing less than the unlimited love of your Creator expressing itself immeasurably.

You will go through many seasons in your lifetime, and not all of them will be beautiful.
When you come to that season, your Creator will not only give you this gift to see you through it, but will also give you peace.

Sometimes life gives you a wake-up call…it’s how fast you get up…not how hard you fall.

You do not get to choose in life what you go through, but you do get to choose how you respond when you go through it.
You will never know why some people are healed and others are not, stop trying to figure it out, there is a reason and we have to trust the infinite wisdom of our Creator.

When you think of the big picture, the entire world, and the suffering and despair that humanity has been through and is still going through, tears flow.
Never hold back your tears when you are in pain or anguish, they can be the waters that cleanse your soul. The grace of God comforts and delivers.

“Grace doesn’t depend on suffering to exist, but where there is suffering you will find grace in many facets and colors.”
– William P. Young “The Shack”
